As
a stockbroker and economic strategy analyst with
the Australian stock broking firm Patersons Securities Ltd
I have found Money and Risk Management to be two
of the most important aspects of successful
stock trading, yet commonly these aspects are
misunderstood and overlooked. To
help stock traders I developed STOCKcalcs educational iPhone app, and in
future hope to make it
available FREE
to download from the Apple apps store. STOCKcalcs should help
educate stock traders about Risk and Money
Management, and assist in the identification of
opportunities. While
you may not use the calculators in STOCKcalcs everyday it
is important stock traders understand the
concepts behind the calculators and begin to
think in terms of Risk: Reward and Money
Management. STOCKcalcs
not only provides the calculators needed to
manage risk and assess opportunities in the
stock market, it
should also assist you in how to use and
understand these Money Management techniques to
benefit your trading. Simple
to use, STOCKcalcs
will have you thinking about and becoming a more
risk focused stock market money manager in
minutes. Where needed, the calculators allow for
brokerage costs to be included in the
calculations. Individual calculators can be
reordered so the calculators used most often can
be moved to the top the list. I hope you enjoy and gain a
